So, I´ve been away for a while, enjoying the summer in Norway. I have been finishing some more of my SESA- items, but unfortunately not all. I am still working on the swimsuit and the more evening appropriate things. I am almost finished with a knit cardigan, but only almost. The last bit is soooo tedious to knit…;-). The things I HAVE finished are a white linen Beignet skirt, a cotton blouse from a 2008 issue of Alt om HĂĽndarbeide, a UFO – a dalmatian print Vogue dress and a pair of sailor styled capris. I´m staying at this place: It is beautiful here, but the internet connection is fairly slow. Oh well, the lack of internet is compensated with a lovely view! I have finished my capris for the Sew-Along, and I´m finishing up a white linen Beignet, and I´ll show you one of these days. Hope you all are enjoying summer!

Then I took my above-bust measurement, and divided that with the size of the square, and I got the number of squares to be made. Easy peasy. Then I joined them with filet crochet,…

Hi there! I´m Sølvi Elise. Welcome to my little corner of the Internet. This is a space where I share my craft projects and thoughts and ideas concerning handmade in a consumerist world.
I live in Oslo, Norway where I use my spare time stitching up my own wardrobe. So far, I´d say that 80 % of my closet is filled with me-mades. I also have an interest in historical sewing, embroidery, knitting, crochet, leatherwork, tablet weaving, rigid heddle loom- weaving, cocktails, jewelry making, makramÊ, shoe making, drawing, paper craft, machine knitting and generally any craft that looks like fun.
