So, Me Made March 2011 has come to an end. Now, that was fast. I know I commented somewhere around day 20 that I thought March was long, but now I´m more like, where did the month go? I know Patty the Snug Bug announced that 2011 was to be the Year of the Dress for her, but for me, I think it will be the Year of the Jacket. My first attempt on a jacket this year was Burda Magazine 09-2009-127. Technical drawing and image from the magazine. I made it out of a fabric I´ll call faux camel hair, in lack of a better description. It´s a beautiful fabric, but very difficult to give a good press, as it´s very thick and at the same time sensitive to heat. Read MoreJust a quick little note about my Stash Bustin´Challenge. I went to the fabric store to pick up some thread and interfacing, and they (those evil temptresses) had a sale. And they had this beautiful fabric for sale, called Nautical from Holland Art. And I just could hold myself. I just couldn´t resist the cute print. What can I say? Sailboats! Anchors! Seagulls!
