Stashbusting Sewalong 2013

So, people, I am excited to give you a more detailed list over my Stashbusting Sewalong contribution for the next couple of months. I have also added the sewalong to my nav bar, so you can monitor my progress there, if you´d like.

Here are my sketches and ideas again:

Apart from this, I am doing some sewing for others, and I hope I´m able to use some stash fabric for that as well.  I might change the order of when I am sewing things, and I might throw other projects into the mix if I feel for it! Actually, I have already been sewing from my stash all January, first making a pair of jeans, and at the moment I am making a dress. I hope to showcase these soon, so stay tuned for some FO´s and pattern reviews!

I love the ‘original intentions’ and ‘new intentions’ categories! You’re being adaptive 😉

      Well, thank you Donna! 🙂

There are some great plans there! I’ve seen Tilly in that Matilde Blouse it looks fantastic!
    Good Luck x

I really was super excited when she announced that she was opening shop – Mathilde is the cutest, and just what I needed at the moment! 🙂

That bathing suit will be awesome. Can’t wait to see the printed silk, too!

I really hope it´ll work out. I don´t spend a lot of time at the beach in the summer, but when I do, I would like to have a decent two-piece to wear. 🙂

I enjoyed reading your plans – especially like seeing the original and new intentions. I am looking forward to seeing how things turn out. 🙂 xx

Thanks! I think it´s fascinating how some ideas just don´t come to life, while others do. And how an idea I had two years ago still can be stuck in my head, while another one is just completely uninteresting. I wonder how the brain works sometimes! 🙂

        Oh that’s so true! 🙂

I love a good plan! I’m trying to avoid doing this, because the minute I do, I want to make just about anything else. I’m fickle that way. Just about everything you have picked is in the back of my mind to make though. I especially love the fuschia hoodie. I’ve been trying to find something in my stash that will work with that pattern too.

I know what you mean! I´ve done that a couple of times- had grand plans that just completely failed. But I don´t stress it as long as it´s just concerning my hobby, it´s worse if it was to happen at work. 😉

Hope you´ll find some hoodie material, then we can have a little mini-sewalong inside the sewalong! 🙂

Great plans! I made a similar plan to bust my yarn stash a few years ago, and it worked very well. Looking forward to seeing all these pieces come to life. 🙂

Wow, when you plan, you PLAN, don’tcha? 😀 That printed silk looks amazing and I could seriously do with a pink fleece sweater – after a couple of sunny days it has started snowing again (but I’m sure it’s still warmer than in Scandinavia…)

Oooh, I love that you’ve pulled out your fabric and matched it to patterns, it’s really interesting to see how your plans have changed slightly but are still sticking to the original vision. And I do like the look of that Burda skirt, I shall be very interested to see what it looks like once made. Big plans ahead by the looks of things, it’s going to be great to see your finished pieces. Go you!
