Saturday night shopping
So, it´s Saturday night and I decided not to go to a party, as I have a good deal of stuff to do this weekend. To reward myself of being such a responsible gal, I did some vintage pattern bidding (and winning) at Tradera.com in stead. I did pretty good, I think – here´s what I got a hold of:
A good looking 60s shift dress, with cool construction BEGGING for some color block action. (What about a black and white version in some gorgeous lightweight wool?) And, can you believe it – it´s got pockets too! This was too good to be true, and with the help of my new pattern fitting literature, this will be fantastic. it does look quite Audrey-ish too, so it´ll fit into my Hepburn/Hepburn- plans as well, don`t you think?
A classic suit, with different options for the jacket. As I lost my only suit jacket, I will have to make a new one, and this one is a good candidate. I especially love view B and D.
This one is another great candidate, I love all three versions of this jacket, it´s such an unusual neckline! Really cool.
Okay, so I´m not much of a winter sports gal, but if I´m ever forced to do some skiing, this is my go to pattern for a ski jacket. Love both versions!
And finally, this lovely 60s style dress, I love both versions, I am particularly fond of the back, very stylish.
I LOVE all of your patterns! I would love to see a black and white version out of the first one. Definitely Hepburn Hepburn 🙂
These are all great but I WANT the 4365 pattern. The neckline and the hem are darling. Have fun with all these!
