on the eve of me made may

The Me Made May challenge is in its tenth season. I remember when it all started, back in 2010. It was one of my first interactions with the sewing community. Can you believe it we were only around 80 members back then!  I hadn´t been sewing for a super long time, and not at all in a way that made me sew with a plan or intention. Back in 2013 I even wrote a reflection note called The evolution of me-mades looking at my participation from 2010-2013. From 2015-2018 my head was not so much in the sewing game, I had a super stressful job, and especially May was crazy those years. I did participate, but I didn´t feel that I had the extra energy I needed and wanted to be part of the community. This year however, I have high hopes for participation.

So without further a do, here is my pledge:

"I, Sølvi of delfinelise.com, sign up as a participant of Me-Made-May 2019. I endeavour to wear only me-made clothes each day during May 2019."

A classic pledge this year, with not much fuzz going on, but I feel a need to go back to the basics with it this year, and just keep a steady pace of combining outfits, documenting them and having a swell time while doing it.
