Just a quick little note about my Stash Bustin´Challenge. I went to the fabric store to pick up some thread and interfacing, and they (those evil temptresses) had a sale. And they had this beautiful fabric for sale, called Nautical from Holland Art.

Stash busted!

And I just could hold myself. I just couldn´t resist the cute print. What can I say? Sailboats! Anchors! Seagulls! Rudders! Ahhh. I am a bad stash buster. You could say that I am stash busted! (but it was totally worth it…)

I don’t blame you for giving into temptation – that fabric is fab!!! PLUS it was in the sale…so it would have been a sin NOT to buy it! hee hee. Any plans for using it yet?

Awesome! I love that they are all swimming in a sea of stripes!

Seeing as how hard it is to find a good nautical print, I would say it is justified!

Evil temptresses, indeed! I’d have bought that fabric, too. 🙂

haha, so nice of you all to justify my buy! 🙂
@suzie: I´m thinking about making a little summer dress with box pleats, but we´ll see what I come up with!

It is great fabric. I don’t blame you for buying it. A dress would look very very cute in this.

Oh wow, I know how it is to be totally seduced by a beautiful fabric, happens to me all the time too! Your new fabric is gorgeous, so I can see how you couldn’t resist!
Thank you for your nice comment on my shoes… actually the brand is Bronx, and they are made in Portugal. I hope that helps you track them down.

I love your idea of a box pleat summer dress for this fabric – I think it would look fabulous…and sale purchases are so easy to justify.
